Amba pricing is per project: Free at $0 (1,000 MAU), Pro at $20 per month (25K MAU), Scale at $200 per month (250K MAU), and Enterprise by contract. Every tier includes all seven capability categories. Overages are linear and posted, and an optional spend ceiling caps the worst-case monthly bill.

What are Amba’s overage rates?
Overages are linear and posted — the same rate at every tier, no negotiated cliffs. Telemetry events and agent tool calls have no included quota; they are metered from the first unit at the rates below.

How much does Amba cost?
Free is $0 with 1,000 MAU, 10K events, and 1K push per month. Pro is $20/mo per project with 25K MAU. Scale is $200/mo with 250K MAU. Enterprise is custom. Annual billing drops Pro to $16/mo and Scale to $160/mo.
What happens when an app goes over its plan limits?
By default a metered write past an included quota is refused with a machine-readable 402 until the period resets or you upgrade. Switch the project to overage billing and traffic keeps flowing at the posted linear rates — $0.50 per 1K MAU, for example. An optional spend ceiling caps the worst-case bill and turns the project read-only when reached.
Is Amba priced per seat or per app?
Per app. Each project (one app) has its own subscription, and inviting teammates adds no per-seat charge — pricing never scales with team size.
Does the free tier expire?
No. Free projects sleep after 14 days of inactivity and wake on the next request; data is kept. An account can hold up to 2 free projects. A sandbox account minted by an AI agent upgrades to Free in place once you verify an email — nothing is re-provisioned.
